As the owner of a small business some days I just shake my head in disbelief. I can’t help but wonder what having a small business will be like in a few years.
Over the past few months we seem to get more and more calls from folks “kicking the tires” who are simply in search of a deal.
They are not interested in the quality products we deliver, the exemplary customer service we deliver, or the fact that we can help them with an overall strategy that will facilitate their success.
They do not care about supporting a local business that not only contributes to the community we work in, but to many non-profits we work with on a daily basis.
It’s not important that our employees are appropriately compensated for their education, skill proficiency and way they work with our clients. (Not to mention their competitive benefit package with health insurance, paid time off, an employer sponsored retirement plan, etc.)
It’s all about the deal.
As a consumer, it’s important to understand what you are paying for and to make sure you are getting what you pay for. There are several reputable agencies in our region.
If you are continually searching for a deal… maybe it’s not the agency. Maybe it’s you!
